welcome!

Humbly, I present my classical music résumé:

  • At the age of 0, RT was gifted with good ears
  • Between 3 and 5, RT was learning piano and music theory rigorously. She completed Beyer 01-(maybe)83 and can discern up to 6 notes.
  • At the age of 6, RT went to school to study math and science for a brighter future 🤷‍♀️
  • In 2019, RT finished watching the entire chapter of the MET opera program, partially breaking her wallet.
  • In 2021, RT became the concertmaster of clapping-from-rare-balcony at New York Phil and Carnegie Hall.
  • In 2024, RT advanced to clapping-from-rare-orchestra while partially breaking her wallet, and the passion continues.
  • RT currently sings in a chorus, not telling you which one though 😛

Congrats! You’ve officially entered my right brain (unfortunately trapped by her left brain because she needs to… eat, pay rent, and spend the rest of her money between 57th and 66th streets).

I ironically was gifted with perfect pitch but was discouraged from learning music/instruments from a young age…. Yet somehow karma came back and gave me a classical music addiction that constantly burns my wallet (in a good way).

This blog is completely inspired by my personal obsession with zero commercial purpose. It is treated as my own notes when I’m conducting my deep and creepy research about 200-year-old dudes in the middle of the night.

2️⃣ I significantly lack music theory knowledge (but I am learning very hard). If you know way more than I do, please 1) be friends with me to teach me more; or 2) make fun of me when you know more about digital marketing than I do… and Excel.

3️⃣ Content will contain various spelling and grammar mistakes. You can only pick on me if you speak 4+ languages.
